When did ZV take over? I've got an August '99 North American OAG, and all I see are CC Air J31s to AHN / AGS / CSG / GSO / PGV / GSP / HKY / HTS / ISO / LWB / LEX / LYH / SOP / RWI There isn't a single BE1 flight out of CLT that I can find. CC Air also had some DASH-8 flights out of CLT, I believe ...Jump to post
The little hub that ZV had down in CLT was short lived. I believe they did that LWB, BFL and whatever that third city in that trip was once a day also. They flew the B1900 on Charlotte-Lewisburg, WV-Bakersfield, CA? I assume you mean Bluefield, WV whose code if BLF. I'm not sure of the third city b...Jump to post
this has been going on since 2014. Gotta find cheap labor to accomplish tasks that can be done in the US. I think the difference here is that they are laying off the workers here, then hiring replacements in Gurgaon, and all the while lobbying for an extension of CARES Act funding. No way should th...Jump to post

My belief is that we will look back at these summer 2020 days as the 'best of times' with respect to the arch of this pandemic and its ramifications. 50% or more of the members of this forum will have lost their job, their house, their health insurance, their retirement plan, or all the above, by s...Jump to post
Also looks like a nice push by B6 into PHL. Been waiting for SJU for a while now but even MORE Florida routes. It's getting dizzy keeping track.. PHL-MCO, PBI 2x PHL-TPA, SJU, RSW 1x http://blueir.investproductions.com/investor-relations/press-releases/2020/06-18-2020-143034427 It's crazy to think ...Jump to post
Would be curious to see if somebody gets info like what's posted RE: DFW/ORD/CLT on the PHL/DCA loads - I wouldn't be surprised to see them in the 50's or lower.
Sunday PHL is showing 55% and DCA 41%. This is both Mainline and Regional combined.
In regards to UA 232, it seems like the deadheading DC-10 instructor pilot who was enlisted to run the throttles was a big factor in helping the flying crew get the aircraft to the airport. Denny Fitch was the ONLY factor. He was the pilot flying. I thought he was along for the ride in the cabin an...Jump to post
On the SOTA Parker pledged a goal of no non management furloughs, but there will be significant management furloughs in the coming months. They can't legally lay off any management (or anyone period) until October 1st (5 months from tomorrow). Oh yes they can. One management isnt protected and the ...Jump to post

It would seem to me that if ever there was a community that required essential air service it would be Dutch Harbor. Dutch harbor doesn’t need essential air service. It made enough money that Alaska airlines was purchasing 100 seats a day each way from Penair. It’s a huge market. In fact it’s the h...Jump to post
I think it’s pretty far fetched to see Mesa getting any additional flying from AA, their likely to lose half of their capacity agreement next year. Does anyone actually think AA is a fan of Mesa?! They’ve pulled all 6 of 6 airplanes per the contract. I doubt Mesa will be renewed honestly... Parker ...Jump to post
So if a Delta employee takes a leave of absence, they can sign up for Unemployment? Depends on what each states unemployment benefits are rules wise. Each state is different. I doubt DL would contest it, considering the situation, so it would be up to the state to ok it and give out the cash to the...Jump to post

Oh I know. They are along with any of our 900s are just nice to fly vs our 200. Don’t have to worry about our 200s anymore! Are the -200s just stored or are they finished? I believe they are finished, unless the plans have changed recently, as the plan was to retire them in favor of the 700's and 9...Jump to post
PHL has Republic, Piedmont, PSA and a few envoy flights. Minus the Republic flights they have about 165 flights a day with the remaining 3, of that about 65-70 flights are canceled daily since this virus thing. How many Republic flights are canceled daily i would have no idea.Jump to post
Yep, look for NK and F9 to merge along with B6 and WN (here comes the Airbus to WN) and maybe AS and HA.Jump to post
Delta has "Hubs at ATL, DTW, MSP, SLC. and now SEA. Other than ATL does anybody notice something wrong? Where ARE hubs along the southern tier or in the West? why not a Texas or Southwestern Hub? American Has PHX, in the Southwest Nobody really owns LAX as a hub So? Where would they spread the...Jump to post
I think it would make sense for PDT to have some E140s on hand, even as operational spares, or for use in some of those east coast markets which have reduced runway lengths. PDT can't crew what they have and are shrinking which is why envoy has nine airplanes in CLT again this month flying their ro...Jump to post

how many cr2 remain at psa? it appears that many aircraft are not in service They are removing them and most of the routes are being replaced with CR7's/CR9's or Piedmont is picking them up with the 145's. All depends on how AA does the flight scheduling. The CR2's days are numbered at PSA, what wa...Jump to post

I think the future of EAS is quite secure. LNS in less than 70 miles from PHL, and of course MDT is just 30 minutes down the road. We have EAS service BWI, 2 per day, And PIT, 3 per day. An average of about 1 or 2 passengers per flight. The local Congressman is a big anti waste spending guy. Except...Jump to post
I doubt any of this is true. Anyone with a slight bit of common sense would not come here on this site and post something like that. I've seen some crazy posts on this site over the years but this one has to be near the top.Jump to post
Eventually WN will get to the point that growth will be difficult because they will be flying all the routes there are that can sustain 737 size aircraft. In order to continue to grow, they will be forced to look at smaller markets and will need an aircraft smaller than the 737. However that scenar...Jump to post

It was called Wings.
That must mean they’re about to merge. Ahh, you beat me to it. Yep it's a sure sign that a merger is about to happen. Southwest will finally have the Airbus, where do you think they will fly them? In fact, at some carriers I've seen nonrev privileges gamified with full backing of the carrier. Who can rack up the most miles this weekend and not miss work on Monday? Winner gets lunch. Who can fly all equipment types in the fleet first this year? It's commonplace and often fully endorsed by the...Jump to post
