AA is averaging 4 more mainline departures per day than last year. Given they have expanded regional faster the mainline, the mainline mix is actually getting lower as a percentage.

In 1990 the average load factor on a Domestic US flight was 59%. In 2018 it was 84%. The question is a false premise because they never did "fill up the widebodies in the old days".

This includes the reductions from this week's OAG. AA is taking advantage of slot waivers at JFK during runway construction and significantly reducing JFK service. They are also using these cancels to offset the grounding of the MAX aircraft.

DFW still has KEF. American Airlines, seasonal. 3 carriers jumped on the route, one is left. I wonder how much longer this route will last being that it is a "dead end" destination for AA. AA has talked about making it a year-round flight so... I wouldn’t say it’ll go away any time soon. ...

I don't know where you are getting your data from but there are 213 flights tomorrow SYD-MEL/AVV and about 340 SFO/SJC/OAK-LAX/BUR/ONT/LGB/SNA.
