Just fly to SJC instead. It’s way more convenient even without the construction if your destination is south of SFO.

Re: American Airlines flight attendant bitten by emotional support dog

Many of you are missing the point. This is exactly the same as people passing off huge suitcases as carry-ons to avoid Becker baggage fees. The fees for bringing your pet on a plane (in a pet carrier under the seat in front of you) are outrageous. I can fly roundtrip on southwest for $100 but then I...

Re: Delta transitions BOS to Hub status, names SJC, BNA, and AUS as new focus cities

SJC opened a new interim facility with 6 gates to the south of Terminal B last week. Southwest will now operate out of the southern 14 gates in Terminal B and Alaska will consolidate into the rest of Terminal B. The news article I read specifically called out the effect this will have on other airli...

Last I've heard WN requested 5 gates and AS requested 6. Flyguy Well almost half of A is now a combination of WN and AS. Those gates can't come fast enough, no matter who gets them. And that is now 6 new gates, in addition to the 2 new ones opened earlier, correct? I thought the new Terminal B exte...

Is there a link to any more info about this 2-gate expansion at SJC to the south of the existing terminals?

I'm not talking about the conversion of 17 and 18 into swing gates, that's already been completed.

Where is SJC going to add all these gates? The international terminal is boxed in on both sides? Eventually I could see them building the full B-south and rebuilding A into an international terminal but what about in the next 3-5 years?
