What about the passenger(s) who are disembarked for an emergency? Say I was injured from turbulence and we divert. What happens to my luggage? How do I get to my destination after being discharged? Who pays? I'm sure it's easy if it's a busy airport, but what about places like Goose Bay?

Just want to confirm, BITRE LF figures are counted as seats bookable, not total aircraft seats, right? Eg 100 seats on a plane, 10 seats blocked, 90 seats sold, 100% LF.

Re VA at HND; I'm still surprised they don't have a Japan point-of-sale on their website yet. To book from Japan, we need to use the NH website. Cheapest fares to CNS, BNE, MEL are still on NH via SYD and are around 75,000-100,000JPY ($750-$1,000 AUD) cheaper than VA via CNS.

Are you sure it was 2005? I was working at Dnata in MEL in 2008 and sure we didn’t get the 777 until 2009/10 maybe? Loved the 345 - but they were getting very very unreliable towards the end!
