Never got to fly transatlantic on an A310, L1011, B707, B777, or VC-10, which were all possible options at some point in time. You should still be able to fly on the 777 across the Atlantic. I don't think they're going anywhere anytime soon. That's true, but currently not available from my homebase...

Before asking here I contacted both the PTY and the CCS stations of Copa via IG, but neither deemed it necessary to at least acknowledge my inquiry. Flightaware would only give the callsign if one were sibscribed to their service.

Nice report MedFlyer. I had a sneak preview on YT before you published it here and was surprised by how loud the cabin interior was and also by how short the cabin actually is: row 6, well in the front, appears to be barely ahead of the wings.

Those were 2 -500 (G-BLUS/T) that BA had to lease from Sri Lankan in 1985 (I believe it was called Air Ceylon back then) for the Brazil routes as BA had ditched its own -500 in 1983. It was called Airlanka at the time. I believe these 2 TriStar 500s were used to fly to CCS as well, That is correct....
