A real shame to hear the OneWorld news. Hopefully EI can at least begin to work more with IB, which belongs to the same holding company. At the moment BA can sell tickets on EI but IB, strangely enough, is left out. There's a lot of potential behind such a partnership, should they collaborate.

CX's HKG announcement is very good news for DUB. Now all we need is for EI to rejoin OneWorld for once!

The saver fare is much better than I expected. It's nice to get more amenities and pay a little more than on Norwegian. The price is still low for a TATL flight.

The EI Vikings made for a funny story.

IB and the 757-200. They bought loads of them but couldn't quite find a way to deploy them properly. All 752s were replaced by A321s, which was an improvement for the company. Operating an all-Airbus fleet was also a goal of theirs at the time.

This is fairly common, even in programmes to aviation accidents. I recently saw an old documentary on American Flight 11 and the 767-200 morphed into a 737-800, 777, and A300 in a matter of frames. With that kind of discontinuity, you'd almost expect them to show an MD-80 and an Eagle ERJ too xD

A friend of mine flew BA many years back and got sick on the plane. She said the flight attendant brought some tissues and made her clean it up herself. This news story is comparable to that experience and completely believable. It just sounds like that's BA's policy.
