Tui also own 49% of Riu Hotels so you can guarantee that is where a lot of the capacity in the packages will be directed to much like they do elsewhere in Mexico and the Caribbean.

All of easyJet’s planes delivered since 2013 have had these seats with the leather coatings. I believe a fair few of the A320s had the refit as well.

The premium cabin looks the same as the first Thomson cabin that was ripped out after a few months as people couldn’t get in and out of the seats when they were reclined.

BA have been quite pro active today and already offered customers the chance to travel today instead of tomorrow or change to 20-22/12 with all fees waived. Jet2 have 8 UK bases now. LBA, MAN, NCL, EDI, GLA, EMA, BHX, and ,STN. They overtook Thomas Cook recently as the 2nd biggest UK package holiday company. At a guess I’d say they have been able to make use of bulk buying hotel rooms at better rates by arranging so many at the same time.

As I read it the captain asked the person to come forward so that he could be sure it was a joke and get on with the flight as planned. The fact this person was so spineless to not have the balls to own up and instead put an entire flight out does in fact make them a moron deserving of a no fly list.

Compensating for costs incurred is one thing but we've created a generation of over entitledness where people think they deserve wads of compensation for every little thing. It's time there was some push back against this.

Yeah the child is entitled to $25 dollars. This is one thing I hope brexit acheives. Doing away with rules that mean airlines pay out more in compensation than people have paid in the first place in fares.

Given EU citizens are charged 14 dollars every two years for an esta to visit the USA what is the problem with an equivalent system in reverse? They don't like it drop the ESTA fee.

Are BA reconfiguring there 777 fleet as well now. I had seats 23 A, and B reserved on an upcoming trip on what was clearly a four class 777-200 from BOS to LHR. It's now changed WTP to 3 rows numbered 18, 19, and 20 only which doesn't seem to match any seat plans for anything in BA's fleet I can find

Are they not refitting the 787 to the same spec as the TOM 787 given they are the same group with the Timco 3040 seats?
