It’s weird that they launched SCL. Chile increasingly has relations with East Asia but not so much Africa/Middle East and South Asia which is EKs bread and butter. EK will give tough competition to european carriers like AF in the connection traffic to Asia from SCL, not to mention the US airlines and even QF. I'm about to fly from SCL to LHR with BA in economy on a 787-9. I know some seats have an entertainment box that can make the trip pretty uncomfortable, but I don´t know which ones. Does anyone know which rows (or seats) should I avoid in order to be sure I won´t have the box?

SCL is not a good connections hub for ROS, unless you are going to points west of it; the only flight that falls into that category is AKL/SYD and IPC/PPT. LATAM offers much better connections from ROS via LIM and GRU. Whatever traffic there is to AKL/SYD can use the AR/NZ services from ROS to AKL ...
