Most of those sold back A380s got damaged pretty badly in a hail storm. Lufthansa had to write off 46 million in damage for that. And there is basically no chance that they will ever carry pax again.

If I remember correctly, the first A330-300s, that were delivered in the mid-90s barely made 4800nm, while the latest A330-300 have a range of more then 6300nm. That's an increase of more than 30% over the time.

Air Do has been operating NH-Codeshare quite some time already, yet they do operate quite independently, they even have their own frequent flyer program and to my knowledge are not associated directly with ANA or Star Alliance at all.
