Re: Rumor: American Airlines To Bring Back Seatback IFEs On Domestic Aircraft

Can they also serve hot meals on flights to Hawaii instead of Wraps? L-AA A321 Hawaii spec are not equipped with Economy galley ovens, nor are the new A321Neos. Some of the L-US Boeing 757-Hawaii have coach ovens, so that's a possibility, but those are being retired imminently. The 777s and A330s d...

I find it interesting that Southwest restarted RNO-OAK/SJC. I wonder if they wanted a better link for their passengers that wanted to go RNO-OAK-GEG, or RNO-SJC-SEA. I know there's probably some local traffic wanting to visit Reno from the Bay, but I think it's also valuable for making connections t...

According to Ontario, California airport, United Airlines will be serving the Ontario, California - San Francisco market, not United Express. Unfortunately, that's not accurate. Any word if AA's Hawaii ops will be a bit more..complete? It seems that going back to the America West days, there are intermittent issues with running a timely operation. AA appears down to 10 75Hs based in PHX for the primary mission of Hawaii, but it seems that some ops still run relatively late....

I'm of the firm belief that the Sukhoi Superjet may be a good candidate for the punishing schedules Hawaiian flies. If you're counting light rail access, Phoenix's Metro Light Rail runs along Washington St, which they've built a elevated rail to get from the metro station to all Terminals. I've used it countless times and it's a nice system. The light rail connects 3 cities and their "downtown" areas to each other.

They appear to be going after everything but the ex-America West 757s, (N901-902, 904-906, 908-910AW) which are quite old and worn, they were delivered anywhere from 1985 to 1989, I read somewhere on this site that as soon as they can mix and match fleets, they'll be retired ASAP.
