RIP to former Jetblue Captain Pete Adler who was onboard this flight as a consultant for Sriwijaya. He was a great person and aviation professional that will be missed dearly.

Alex...wow! What an incredible customer-oriented experience provided by First Air! I'm very happy to hear that you had great onboard food, comfortable seating, and most importantly, friendly and engaging cabin crew. I am glad to hear this, especially after your previous disappointing flights through...

Roni, I can almost feel the discomfort you had with that sunburn!! I'm still laughing at burj's photo link!!! Tahiti looks like amazing, and that infinity pool and view beyond are something I'd never want to part with. Thanks for sharing this trip report, that was quite a marathon journey...but what...

Alex, I am really enjoying reading and viewing your journey around the North of Canada. I've never flown on those airlines, but I always imagined that the Flight Attendants on these small carriers would be much more approachable and friendly given the uniqueness of their clientele and routes. Unfort...

I believe the J-41 has a cabin crew jumpseat in the aft cabin that is technically in the lav, when the lav is in use.

Airline Memorabilia Collectors In USA Mid-Atlantic

I am looking to network with other a.net members in the mid-atlantic region of the US who are avid collectors of airline timetables, magazines, marketing materials, etc. I am in the process of reorganizing my collection of memorabilia and it has reignited my interest in the hobby again. I have many ...

RE: Any Chance Of New Service To Wilmington, DE (ILG)?

Having lived in Wilmington for many years, I have always considered the airport a missed opportunity for scheduled service. I think that in a lot of cases (pertaining to legacy carriers), service was unsuccessful due to lack of frequency. For example, ASA's short-lived service to <acronym title="Atl...

RE: DFW-LAX-NRT With 2 Cats

I am sorry to hear of Simone's passing. It sounds like both cats lived long, healthy, and interesting lives! That's about the best you could ever hope for them! And you're right, they are great companions...with strong unique personalities, especially Siamese.

Great trip report! I enjoyed the photos of the Celebrity ship...absolutely beautiful. I sailed on the Infinity a few years back and had a relaxing time. The Summit looks similar, but perhaps somewhat updated in comparison to what I remember of the Infinity. Either way, the photos sure made me start ...

This coming weekend will be busy with the Sea Witch festival and parade...then it will quiet down. The town is fairly busy on good weather weekends, but pretty quiet during the week. Rent a bicycle and ride the Junction-Breakwater trail north into Lewes. Beautiful right now with the autumn leaves...
