Re: Confusion as Nigeria's bankruptcy administrator rebrands Arik aircraft

The A350-500 was always Arik's property, but Arik was not allowed to fly to Europe at that time on technical grounds, so, they contracted with Hi Fly to operate the aircraft for them. But it belonged to Arik. Did Airbus build a one-off A350-500 to Arik 's specifications for a prince ? Maybe it's th...

LOL. Wow, last flight was done in March 31st 2019. XA-DAS was stopped in April 2020. Wonder why it hasn't returned this last one. g77 C-check was just finalized. I believe the plan is to get most, if not all, of the ex-CZ craft inducted first. Alternatively I’ve also heard these others may be just for spare parts.

Perhaps the failure during the recent Starliner launch was the straw that broke the camel's back? I think the FAA should have a policy that anyone 6 or younger is seated next to a parent or travel companion over 18. Not a good idea to have them seated alone for them and the people next to them. People should have to pay to book seats together, and if the airline can't deliver, they should pay $...

You are correct it’s still way too early in the investigation for the FAA to say anything. My question is because this is an American built aircraft will the NTSB sent a team over to assist in the investigation? My best guess is that Boeing will try to recreate both crashes to see what went wrong an...
