The question is, whose gun accidently discharged? And why? Careless handling of guns? So one "BANG" is enough to close down one of the world's busiest airports for hours? No such thing with security/TSA discharging a weapon, that would be classified as NEGLIGENT DISCHARGE. :twocents: Okie...

What do you think asking for a new permanent contract is? We cannot be this naïve. Asking for a permanent contract is just that. Asking for a permanent contract and nothing more. The real solution to this issue is to require double-vaccination to fly commercially. Except that there still isn't a vaccine available for children aged 6 months to 4 years. The FAA requires children 2 years and older to wear a mask, while the EU doesn't require a mask til age 6 years. There's a b...

The pilots are burned out. I have plenty of money so it’s not about the money. It’s about being taken advantage of by management pilots that have not flown the line since the 1990s. They have no idea how bad it is out there. Working a 14 hour day then having to book your own hotel gets old really f...

$15 per hour full time translates to roughly $30,000 per year. Depending on the cost of living where you live that is either a lower class or poverty wage.
