No, the aircraft must be free and clear of the ground for it to count. Therefore, if you are trying to collect a rare/special aircraft, airline, etc. you cannot relax until the wheels have left the ground. If many avgeeks are onboard, you may notice an audible sigh of relief at that moment.

Speaking for the entire A320ceo series, there were actually 3 engine types. The A318 was available with the Pratt & Whitney PW6000 which visually resembles the IAE V2500 but is lighter. Avianca and LAN were operators of this option.
