I have the 80-400, love it but it does start to suffer quality wise when reaching over 320/350mm. A real steady hand is needed and you have to take in account that at over 350mm you will have banding. Like dutchspotter mentions, I use two bodies, my old and trusty D90 for my closer range work and my...
Jump to postIt is a rubbish shot and I am starting to get frustrated in why these pictures are being accepted and even placed as significant. I do not know the photographer personally but it seems he has a large influence on the screeners at A.net!

I was thinking the exact same! Surprised the shot even made it through the screening...
Jump to postHow can people say their current livery is a classic?! It is bland!!! I love the new livery!!!
Jump to postThis might be a stupid question. Since those types of parcel delivery services I believe tend to have fairly light but bulky cargo, I believe they reach the physical space limits of the aircraft long before they reach the maximum takeoff weight. For a company like Amazon, could there be a market fo...
Jump to postAnd currently happening again! In the case you're referring to the BA 747s, there were a handful of us up on the tower catwalk and we uploaded them that same night we got back to the hotel, hence why they both hit the page at the same time. Nothing overly suspicious to me that they got PC, consider...

Jump to postI have just over 50 pics on A.net and proud of nearly everyone of them! I agree, I see some shots pass by which make me frown as why they have achieved 1000+ views inside 24 hours! But do I care? Not really! I post my shots for myself and for fellow enthusiasts to enjoy. Do I think some of my pics a...
Jump to postjubaexpress,
I believe you are getting mixed up with Maastricht Airlines from a couple of years ago!?

You can try to E-mail the photographer (and post the answer here).

Hi Wim,
99.999% sure this shot was taken from the old LAX tower.

Dear marc1201,
You are not doing yourself any favors in the way you are retorting to people whom are trying to help you! So I suggest you shrug the giant chip on your shoulder, take a break from a.net for a couple of days and retreat to your office and think things over.
Keep cracking at it Al! In the beginning it took me 10/15 minutes to work on my photos but as you get the feel for things it starts going quicker. I have had so many shots rejected i have lost count! Last couple of months I have been scoring 2 out of 5. Youtube has some good tutorials on how to edit...

@ Block40Osan Really appreciate your info on the Seoul airports! ICN is on my to do list, as soon as the 4th runway is finished. I guess the overview will be even more ideal then it is now as the aircraft will be closer!? Is it possible for you to make a map with the most current spotting locations ...
Jump to postHahaha..no probs there Steve! I thought it might have been that....
Love the B727 t/o shot!
Sorry if I am repeating a question but I still get the impression that the photos since the upgrade still lack quality!? They seem slightly out of focus?
Cheers
Hi airkas1,
It was another shot, this one I do have in my rejected file.
My other shot is as it leaves its gate.

It is a ground shot of a ETD B789 at DUS.
Hope this helps?
Alvast bedankt,

Hi fellow aviation enthusiasts,
I have had a photo disappear on me! It was in the cue and then suddenly vanished. It's nowhere to be found, not in the rejected shots, not in the cue and not in the database?
