Re: AC Rouge Future Fleet

Do you all think there is room for A321 Neo and LR versions to join the overall company. They certainly have enough between AC mainline an rouge to justify that fleet. Is the 737-9Max going to be turfed? Will AC use it as a tool to top up some dream liners or even push into new 777 orders?

AC Rouge Future Fleet

Just starting with the statement that whether or not you enjoy Rouge, that is not what I'm interested in discussing. I have flown several times (front and back) and found it completely aligns with my expectations. I've upgraded myself for space which is what anyone can do if they find the back tight...

Really impressive SQ! Its just amazing these aircraft can go up and stay there for so long. After such a valiant start with the A345, its just amazing to see the A350 completely transform the economics to make it happen. I really hope the economics work out. Re: Air Canada Summer 2019 long-haul changes

On this note, I am aware that in the 80s, Air Canada had a longhaul 747 route of of CLE, I think to LGW. With Air Canada struggling lately in many respects, I wonder if we will ever see a similar 5th freedom route again with the 787s or even a 767. Say.....what is that again? You must be getting a ...

Ten years ago, who would have ever thought that the labour relations tables between AC staff and management would be vastly better than at WS. I think WS’ FAs unionizing is now a question of when and not if. Too true. Westjet's marketing had a great time promoting that Westjet's culture meant its s...

I've always had trouble coming to terms with unionized pilots, some of whom earn in excess of 200k per year. They want to be the "manager" of their aircraft but benefit from union tactics at the same time. If pilots aren't prototypical "management" who is? I hope they give up an...

It appears AC planning to use the 737 Max to open new markets rather than immediately replace A320s. They did the same thing with the Dreamliners and 767s.

So what else will the MAX allow AC to do?

Will we see any options on Dreamliners taken?
