Got off the American AA132 Dallas-Dublin earlier this morning after an almost 2.5 hour delay leaving DFW. Flight was packed (as expected) with many travelling to Dublin for St. Patrick's weekend. Plenty of Texas connections from Austin, San Antonio and even Amarillo. Flight was overbooked and some ...

Came in from Dallas this morning on the AA direct service to Dublin. Good to see this route sustaining full loads into Winter. Wonder if we will see it eventually go 2 x daily similar to DFW-FCO? Re: Irish 12/23: What's another year!

Looking at DFW-DUB-DFW flights next spring/summer and notice that AA has changed from 788 to 772. That's quite a few extra seats daily (234 to 273) and almost doubles the business cabin (20 to 37). The route must be doing well up front to commit a more premium heavy aircraft given that AA is still s...

This months thread title had me thinking back to 1980 and Johnny Logan. How DUB has changed. Back then noisy and smokey take offs from 707's heading west. BAC1-11's, Tridents and 732's going to Uk and Europe. Occasional visits of a Caravelle or 727. Lingering memories of the noise, smoke and smell a...

Re: Dallas / Fort Worth (DFW/DAL) Aviation Thread - 2021

Looks like the imminent double daily BA 78X/788 on DFW-LHR is a precursor to BA A380 service starting on or after Dec.7 depending on "facilities being in place". Many sources online quoting this story. https://www.independent.co.uk/travel/news-and-advice/british-airways-a380-heathrow-frank...

Re: Dallas / Fort Worth (DFW/DAL) Aviation Thread - 2021

Seeing double daily BA DFW/LHR service bookable into Nov. with the regular BA192/3 using 78X plus a new flight BA140/1 with 788.
Saw this on google flights and also checked BA.com and both flights seem bookable.
