Appears that after a go around at MAN the plane is diverting down to LHR, seems strange.

Re: Atlas Air 3591 Down in Trinity Bay, Texas

Well my speculation would have two options: 1. The plane hitting CLAT, dropping the 1000+ feet in an instant, which ends up severely damaging some of the control surfaces, which leads a few seconds later into a full nosedive. Not sure how much G-forces the tail can take, but at least for AA587 the ...

These type of accidents make me so sad. It didn't have to happen. As a ME instructor I would instruct my students. Fly the plane, feather the prop, and fly straight ahead until getting enough altitude to maneuver to another or same airport. There are plenty of nearby airports and there are no obsta...

This may be a dumb question, but how much will a Cat III ILS help B6 at ORH? Don't airlines still have minimums and I thought it was FedEx and UPS that really benefited from a full Cat III. 737, remember you can't really fly up to 100 hrs because a pilot can only fly 1000 hrs in a year. If pilots start flying 100 hrs a month come mid November everybody starts running out of time for the year and end up with 2 month off with pay.
