I never recall seeing it announced, but it looks like PHX-HMO went from a CR7 to a E75. Then in January, it'll be an A319? That's quite an increase in demand. Is the A319 permanent?

JFK to Haneda is a must and should be priority ONE. Charlotte to Tokyo should be priority TWO, why AA doesn't fly to Japan from an east coast hub is beyond me. The value of B6/NK was $3.8B at the time the merger was announced. Currently, the combined value of the carriers is about $2.5-2.6B. How is that $1.2B~ loss in value accounted for? Are there any advantages to both airlines having significantly decreased value in the current economic landscape?

I was just noticing that the LSG SkyChef building on the west side of the airport is no more. When was it demolished? I assume it was to make way for the 24th Street parking lot? Where is the primary catering facility now?

It’s too bad the Mitsubishi MRJ90 program was dropped. With the economic and cultural ties between Hawaii and Japan, the MRJ90 would have been the ideal replacement, let alone look amazing in Hawaiian’s livery.

What is the concern? Is it damaging to the aircraft? High heels would likely create indents on the top of the wing, potentially disrupting airflow over the wing, reducing lift, and ultimately risking the lives of 300+ pax as the 777-300ER fails to gain altitude and ending in a horrific ball of fire...

Aeromexico flew PHX-TIJ in the early 90s, but I believe it was for less than a year.

The SWC proposal far and away appears to be the better value for the community. The only problem is whether they'll be certified in time. If not, I would ask Contour to substitute PHX for DFW. PHX is too close and there is serious competition from the road. That makes it hard to stay within the cap...
