Re: Canadian election planes

The damaged Trudeau plane C-GTQB was ferried YYJ-YUL yesterday. The replacement plane C-GTQF seems to be back in the normal TS schedule as it is currently on its way to Orlando.

I wonder if QB is already ready to go back to service for the Liberals?

Canadian election planes

With the Canadian federal election officially starting tomorrow, I am interested in which planes the federal leaders are chartering. The Conservatives and NDP have traditionally gone with Air Canada A319s. I am curious whether the cash-strapped NDP can still afford this. The Liberals have frequently...

Re: Special commity report on lack of flights leads to resignations from YQB board

Obviously China is ridiculous. That said, I think YQB could probably support a year-round Paris flight on a narrowbody like a 7M8 with AC or A321LR with TS. I also think a summer-fall flight to LHR/LGW, FRA or KEF (for connections) on a narrowbody could do OK with tourism in both directions. I know ...

Excellent report, great photos; thanks for posting.

The Aeroflot A321 at YUL was there to be delivered to TS. They received two from SU, I believe, and they are repainted now.

And note that you were not on a Q100, but rather a Dash 8-100. The real old ones. Nothing "Q"uiet about them!
