Used to regularly operate non stop from HNL-EWR in the 767-400, left around 6p so 11p on the east coast then 8.5 to nine hours en route had us arriving at 7.30-8AM, that was a tough one I'd take that any day over South America..overnight both ways and the flying presents it's own set of challenges....

I recently flew into Nashville and before traveling there I did some research (Wikipedia and Flightaware)into what airlines served BNA and I noticed that UPS Air was not on the list which surprised me.

We were in Sao Paulo proper from late May through the end of June, 2022. I did not see any direct flights on offer to BRC when I was there, and I did look from both GRU and CGH at that time. Maybe next time we are in SP in the southern winter, I will look directly on AR's website rather than Google...

Before runway 8R was completed at HNL in 1977 would departing flights use runway 8 (8L) exclusively, making a hard right turn to avoid the moutains east of Honolulu? Or did departing flights use a different pattern?

The power steering warning light (red) on my 2009 VW Tiguan started coming on a few months ago so I ended up having to replace the car's rack and pinion. Cost me $2,000 but it was worth it as I like the vehicle and it runs well.
