Re: AS MAX impact and the NEO's future

I flew an AS A321neo from SFO-OGG in May 2018, shortly after the final VX flight. So AS has already flown the Neos to Hawaii, albeit only for a short while. This flight and another JFK-SFO flight I took last year had the newest VX seats and IFE, which I was sad to see ripped out a short while later....

They mention ten airbus lease returns in the earnings call but I didn't catch them say which planes. Presumably the 321neos are here to stay, so I'm guessing 319s, but maybe is 319 and 320s?

AS is the only major US airline who plates their domestic first class meals (it explains why you may not get your meal until an hour left on a 3 hour flight). It's a tedious process but it also requires plenty of counter space. Virgin, like everyone else, served meals that were plated in catering. ...

I have flown AS for 30 years and VX since 2008, but have never worked for AS or VX. They were my two favorite airlines, so I was optimistic the merger would retain the best of both worlds. Not sure if that is happening, however. I have taken 7 flights this year (all on former VX Airbuses) and have n...
