Re: Craziest air trip made.

Ive done: GRR-CLE-DFW-IAH DEN-SFO-HKG (72 hrs)-DUB-LCY. HKG-DUB-LCY was because a HKG-LHR flight cancelled so my nonrev self was forced to get creative. DUB was open and I knew it was a good way to London. My London hostel was right on the blue line from Heathrow, but couldn't pass the chance to get...

About $47 to fly easyJet TXL-MUC in 2019. Nice and cheap and was even able to check my duffel. My 6'2" self sucked up the 28" pitch with a whole row to my self in the hour long flight which was about 1/3 full.

Re: Any possibility of WN returning to DAY in the late 2020's?

DAY is smack in the middle between CVG, CMH, IND, and SDF. SWA has been adding more leisure-based new destinations (i.e. HDN and BZN) and doubling down on metros where they have hubs (ORD, IAH, and MIA). DAY is sizeable, but not much leisure nor business to fill a 737 right now. Not saying it won't ...

It's been a hot minute since I've flown on a 764, 2014 I believe FRA-EWR. I love flying it if only for the uniqueness of the frame.

When my ex gf lived in Houston, I would often fly DEN-IAH to visit for a weekend. Quite a few times I was on a 753.
