Re: Would Boeing make a 757 on request?

Part of the interest in a.net is the never-ending procession of astounding threads. Do people really think building airliners are like building a one-off boat? Or do people really think airlines purposely ignore profitable routes that an armchair CEO thinks up like a hub in ANC? GF What a pointless...

Re: Maho beach-goer tries to hit plane with ball

All the calls to shut it down are ridiculous. One tourist with terrible judgement deserves to have the book thrown at him sure, but the vast majority or people who enjoy Maho Beach aren't lobbing things at planes. This is not an epidemic, it is an isolated incident, and should be dealt with accordin...

Why is the NTSBs website inaccessible?

Every time I try to open an accident report, or even go to ntsb.gov, it asks me for a username and password. What is going on? Why did it disappear? Does this have something to do with Trump, like when he ordered the EPA to remove government data about climate change? Puzzling.

Data provided to top scientists and military admirals have ruled out dones weather balloons, civil and military air traffic. Sounds pretty bizarre. ...
