Schedule launch date for SQ's SIN-LAX, SIN-NYC?

So we heard about SQ's intentions to relaunch SIN-LAX and SIN-NYC using the A350 in 2015 already but since then it's been quiet. Considering they mentioned 2018 and schedules are typically released roughly a year in advance, wouldn't frequency and timings be announced relatively soon? Are they waiti...

Re: Qantas considering 777-8 or A359ULR to replace 744ER's to fly SYD-JFK and SYD-LHR non-stop

British Airways and Qantas all ready fly direct LHR - SYD, they just have a technical stop (refueling/catering). British Airways stops at SIN with their 777s, and Qantas stops in DXB with their A380s. The stops are in the middle of the night and there is no chance to leave the aircraft. That's inco...

Re: Your Perfect fleet for an overseas airline?

In general I would say a mixed fleet of A333 CEO and A350-900/1000 would be hard to beat in terms of economics and flexibility. Something similar could be said of a 789 and 77W fleet, this would trade low aquisition costs for better long-term economics and range on the low end (333 vs. 789).
