Re: AA beefs up MIA - South America flights, returns to BOS-LHR and extends European schedules

It’s a positive sign to be growing again in BOS, but if they want to combat DL they’re going to need to do more than just that. It’s a shame that they gave up on a lot of the to point flying out of BOS that US used to do.

It was also announced Level will be flying between ORY-BOS.

Re: AA/oneworld Needs a Win

While I think this is a huge blow for AA, I don’t think that it matters in the grand scheme of thing. They weren’t going to be able to get the JV with LATAM in the near future. Therefore the partnership was never going to reach full potential. AA is better partnering with GOL or Azul, maybe they cou...

Not surprised at all the cuts to PUJ. I know many people who strongly reconsiders (or avoided booking new ones) their trips to the DR this summer with all the random deaths that were a major topic of the news. Give it six months and people will forget it all happened.

The A330/A350 combination makes a lot of sense for VS. Considering their de facto parent DL will have a large fleet of both, they can probably pass off a lot of maintenance off to DL. The 787s on the other hand now make less sense in hindsight. Considering VS’s network is primarily US based, they wo...
