Once again, thank you for this amazing article. I never knew Pan Am had a dining room on the main level of their 747s. Love the photos and the seat fabric/carpeting details too. Keep up the great work. Looking forward to the early 1980s, when I flew extensively on Pan Am's 747s.

Glad to hear they're keeping the 767s around for a while. They have always been one of my favorite airplanes to fly on. 18 inch wide seats and 2-3-2 seating in Economy (especially in E+) is probably the most comfortable way to fly in Economy. I'd choose a 767 over the cramped 787 in Y any day.

I will have to reserve judgement until I actually sit in the seat for a few hours. I'm glad they went with the "comfort kit" with the extra seat bottom cushioning.
