On Saturday just before noon I was just experiencing a UA 787 doing exactly what was described above (but north of the terminal buildings) from runway 07L/25R Northwest. Considering the runway is only being used for landings, I think it was a go-around.

Use the SOEP, they are fantastic . Never used them for rail issues before, but other people do. They were of great help when an airline tried to screw me in a similar manner to what you describe.
