I’ve done it twice The last time was here to Madrid. No job and place to stay but my girlfriend was here and could help. At first I made little money but my expenses were low and you slowly work your way back and after about 6 months, maybe a bit more, I was back working as an engineer. I have a cou...

Re: Do you have air conditioning (AC) in your home?

We do but never use it. Right now its 33 here in Madrid but when I get up tomorrow it’ll be under 20.

We normally get two weeks of 40 and I might switch it on but normally don’t

If fact we use it more for heat as they don’t switch on the boiler until we’ve had several days of cold weather.

Talked to a father of one of my sons friends today. He got it weeks ago and went to hospital, was released and had to go back. Then his wife got it and went to hospital. Now they’re ok but he said it was serious for both of them.

Looks like Madrid doesn’t pass to phase 1 :(

This week here in Madrid they let us leave the house to exercise 8:00 to 10:00 and again 20:00 to 22:00 so I’ve been able to go for a run. The parks are shut so everyone is using the same space so it feels like everyone is way too close. We did not make it to phase 1 so we continue locked down for t...
