Older planes with polished aluminum looked great. But today’s generation of aircraft, with all the composite and carbon fiber, wouldn’t look nearly as clean. I believe it was one of the reasons AA chose to get rid of the aluminum finish and introduce their current livery.

Living in rural Alaska and not on the road system, I have pretty much everything delivered by airplane - including refrigerators and chest freezers.

Sometimes they get put on their side during shipping and out of a precaution you'll want to leave it sit upright for 24 hours before turning it on.

Not really a joke. How do you expect to enforce a mask requirement when up until recently there was a supply shortage? All basic PPE was going to hospitals and law enforcement. Now it appears there is enough (barely) that an airline could require, and reasonably expect, passengers to comply.

I would love to see Horizon come in with E-175s and expand service within the state of Alaska. Even here in Nome, I'd take three E-175s a day as opposed to current two 737s. Unalakleet could probably support a daily E-175 with a small EAS bump.

Well, having 90+ million in debt didn’t work out too well for Raven, now did it. The horrible customer service didn’t help any, either.

It will take time, but other carriers will step in and fill the gaps. Sounds like there are plenty of Raven assets gonna be coming up for sale shortly.
