Irma destroys SXM & Maho Beach [PICS]

Sorry it this has been posted already. Just found this article with sad - yet incredible - pics of the aftermath of Irma passing through Saint Marteen. Re: Why are E170/175 windows misaligned?

I've flown on AA's E175s and E190 and windows are indeed misaligned in Y. I noticed that the further to the front of Y, the smaller the misalignment though. Rows 7, 8 & 9 tend to have pretty much aligned windows (or very little misaligned). I also remember the the last rows in the back also have...

Hey everyone. Yesterday I finished reading this book about flight TWA 800, the 747 that exploded in mid-air near Long Island, NY, back in 1996. I'm sure you all remember that. Anyway, the name of the book is "Out of Control", written by Nelson Demille (#1 @ New York Times), and is a romance that he ...

Hey Timz, that's because the plane seems to be close to terrain, and not so far from it (as it would be if it was at cruise altitude). But that could be optical illusion, because you can't see any shades from the plane on the ground. I actually have doubts about how a plane at cruise altitude would ...

It looks like a 145 to me too, but I don't think it's at cruise altitude. It seems to be either on approach (early stages) or during initial climb. But hey, if it's far from any airports around, it could be higher than that. Anyway, nice topic this one and very cool pic! Does anyone know about anoth...

Guys (and girls), For the 737 coordinates, type this: -10.716578,-57.277664 It should work now!! You can't have a decent zoom of the area using maps.google.com, but maybe with Google Earth you can see it closer. Just as a note, these coordinates are very much like the coordinates revealed by the Bra...

Since nobody bring this up until now, Corsair took advantage of the F-GSEX reg. and painted that "kiss" on the fuselage. It's the only 747 they have with that "sexy appeal" painted on! Just like that, Airbus also took advantage of regs. to register their A380s... First, F-WWOW -> "WOW" Second, F-WXX...
