Hmm, I don't think I'll be switching to a DSLR camera.
So for me at the moment it looks like I'll just settle for a Panasonic Lumix camera with around 60x zoom.
Still have a few months for something good to come around.
Thanks for the feedback.

Preferably something no more than £500, though should the perfect camera come along, I could probably stretch a bit further.
Currently looking at a Panasonic DMC FZ82 which looks decent.

So... got myself a FRIAT Mach-3 ticket to this year's Royal International Air Tattoo and figure I need a new camera... Lately I have only used small compact digital cameras (my current is a Panasonic Lumix TZ-80). It does the job with 18Mp and 30x zoom, but I feel I'd like more of a "proper&quo...

First off, not entirely sure which platform/forum this best fits in to, but I've given this one a go. Jump to postYeah they seem pretty rare.
I'm not 100% sure of the scale... maybe 1:100 or 1:200.
Do you happen to know of anyone who might do a decent custom made model?
Thom@s
Does anyone know where I might be able to find a scale model of an Atlantic Airways BAe-146?
The airline used to sell these, but don't appear to have them anymore since replacing the 146 in their fleet.
Any help in tracking one down would be most appreciated.

I'm having some trouble with the quality in the videos I'm currently shooting with my camera. A bit of an odd request, but at the airport I work at we require the sound effect of a announcement chime.
It will be used during boarding announcements etc.
Does anyone know where I might find such a sound online?
Thom@s
A bit unsure how to categorize this thread but hopefully non-aviation will do. I'm trying to find a picture I saw online of a Dash 8, which had been photoshopped to look comically even shorter than the original Dash 8-100.
