It's a busy year at home with various family celebrations so I won't be doing much travelling. Just made my first flights of the year last week - Ryanair MAN - MRS and back. My first flight on a 737 Max 8 (8200 version) and survived. My next ( and currently only planned) flights are BHX - FNC on a J...
Jump to postI have to say I found it quite odd to be asked this question probably because LHR has for most of my adult life been my home airport and over the years have flown to and from many major cities within Europe and indeed around the world. I have to confess to never being totally clear on the difference...

Jump to postMany moons (30 years +) ago my Varig flight to Rio was terminated at Sao Paolo as we were running about 18 hours late I think at that point. We had to join another flight routing GRU- GIG - FCO for the last short hop. There was no seat allocation so we took a couple of empty seats in the first class...
Jump to postThe emptiest I recall was a Lan Chile 788 from SCL-MAD. Economy was about 25% full which meant most people who wanted to were able to stretch out and sleep on their own row of three seats for the long overnight flight.
Jump to postThe worst for me was a flight from HKG to LHR on VS in the depth of winter. There was nothing wrong with the flight it was just the length of time i spent in the dark It went in Hong Kong at around 4pm and my flight was at five minutes to midnight, so I had been in the dark as it were for eight hour...

A planned trip to IST with TK had to be cancelled.
Flew on a Virgin A351 last night and in premium economy there are two toilets at the front of the cabin for PE passengers. I don’t think there was anything to stop J passengers using them. They were possibly the smallest toilets I have ever used on a plane.

This is a tricky one to answer as i have different situations that might be regarded as diversions. The only truly genuine diversion was CMN-LHR which was diverted to LGW due to fog. Luckily as I lived in West London at the time the diversion wasn't too inconvenient. A bit more tenuously: A flight f...

Smallest maybe Kingscote South Australia or Playa Baracoa Cuba. What about Vancouver Harbour Flight centre. A collection of huts but no runway as such…
Only had one round trip this year so far so Easyjet gets the award for both best and worst! Actually they weren't at all bad - pretty comfy for a short haul configuration and flights on time with pleasant staff.

Jump to postI only recall once being given a gift during a flight and that was on China Eastern (an A300-600) between Beijing and Xi'an back in 1996.

Jump to postI like the refresh. The removal of the website address is a good idea as it’s now a bit of an ‘old fashioned’ thing to do and in my mind anyway something you associate with the low cost end of the market. Jump to postOh BTW, why doesn't BA fly to BOG, and are there ever any chances of seeing BA in BOG? This potential route has been long-discussed here on airliners.net. Jump to postA grand total of three flights with MS a round trip CAI-LUX and back both on A320s and CAI-LHR on a 7773ER. As I didnt make a note of the aircraft registrations I can't be sure whether i flew on two different A320s or the same plane twice.

Thanks.
PS A beach is nice but a hotel pool overlooking the sea can work just as well.
Gosh, so much hate based on so little information. I await feedback from crew who have worn it and passengers who have ...
