Yeah, I remember when NW parked their 747s and DC-10s at the end of T2 in the early 2000s What sort of routes was NW doing from T2 with 747s and DC10s? IIRC, the 74s stopped just before 2000 when the NRT flight ended. Japan allowed more flights in 1998 I think. Before then, there was 7x on NW, 7x o...Jump to post
So it looks like DL is flying a 767-300 DTW-ORD daily for the next few days. It looks like a normal flight number DL1066. And it will be parking on their own gates at T2. So for those never seeing a widebody parked out there, this will be a good time. Actually, they can go up to a 772 if needed. Ye...Jump to post
So it looks like DL is flying a 767-300 DTW-ORD daily for the next few days. It looks like a normal flight number DL1066. I remember when they flew, briefly, 767's on the ORD- CDG route from T-5 and I've heard they fit 767's into T-2 from time to time but have never seen one there. Do you know the ...Jump to post
All of Delta's all-cargo flights are currently DL33XX. Repatriation flights are DL88XX. Current all-cargo flights include: ORD-FRA ATL-ICN DTW-ICN-PVG LAX-ICN-PVG The India flights are repatriation flights for Americans in India organized with the State Dept. UA is handling DEL-SFO while DL is doin...Jump to post
Just saw KE will send B77L to ORD tomorrow (HL7721) instead of regular B77W. Seems like they will fly by smaller sister for a few days. Was hoping to see B748... Just to clarify that HL7721 is a 777-200ER or a just a 772, 77L is a 777-200LR or a 777-F. KE only operates the 77L in freighter version.Jump to post

Means PGL will get better discounts from both manufacturers and LOT will easier move the fleet around due to seasonal fluctuations. .
Remember the bread and butter of SQ is business/first class passengers which make the flight sustainable. I bet its probably USA instead of Canada as Canada is mostly VFR and not much business travel (same reason they chose SEA over YVR for Microsoft, Amazon, etc.). Chicago has the 2nd highest numb...Jump to post
This is bizarre. The 787’s are based at ORD, so you’d think a replacement aircraft wouldn’t have been hard to come by there ... so odd. Even if there's a spare available at ORD, it's going to be tough to scare up a crew at 0400, not to mention finding ramp staff to transfer the bags and maintenance...Jump to post
You'd think they would be happy that a U.S. airline has chosen them and wants to bring them a lot more tourist dollars. You have probably never been to Krakow, they are not hurting for any lack of tourism. There are tourists there from all over the world and remember British pounds and the Euro are...Jump to post
A rare aircraft? They have 14 in service with more on the way; not exactly what I would call rare in aircraft terms. If anything the MD family is the rare type here, considering they are no longer in production and are winding down with DL. So you consider an aircraft of which 14 have been delivere...Jump to post
Only BOG and EZE have the A350......JFK and ORD lost the plane.....maybe LIM and MEX are the next destinations... This may mean some A346s are definitely going.... They have been flying them to ORD/JFK on a regular basis along with the a330. So hopefully they stay for a bit longer... :crossfingers:Jump to post

It is Boeing's customer code for United. You can do a search on the web and find every customer code that ordered a new Boeing from the 60s up to but not including the 787 and 737MAX. And its "ordered by" not "delivered to" that is relevant for example AI code 37 flies some AC 77...Jump to post
Apparently O'hare now has a direct cargo flight to SYD: https://www.aircargoweek.com/db-schenker-launches-chicago-sydney-flights/ I'm curious, is this a nonstop, or a "direct" with a fuel stop? Since it's freight, I'm guessing it's the latter, but the timing is pretty tight to include a f...Jump to post
ORD trivia: Anyone know the story of this 727 parked next to AA383's one-winged 767? Photo taken yesterday (2 Feb). https://i.postimg.cc/J0hQSWqH/IMG-1273.jpg Well I know it is a former Fed EX 727, I'm assuming it was donated for safety training or something along those lines. Of course we all know...Jump to post
Why did they go for the A350-1000 at first? They have been converted to the A350-900 I think the Airbus order was a legacy from Continental. United are Boeing true and true... Except its actually Continental that survived the merger retaining most of the management. They just chose to stick with th...Jump to post
Not sure if EK has done this before but just saw EK9245 land ORD nonstop from SYD. I realize this was cargo flight but just wondering if it was the first Nonstop from Australia to ORD. Reg # A6-EFJ. Per Flightaware scheduled out SYD at 515pm and arrives ORD 500pm. 14,863 km. Yes EK has actually flo...Jump to post
For anyone around O’Hare in the next hour or so, United has a 787-10 inbound from PAE that should be parking at T1. Heard the City may bring out the water cannons. I assume this is a delivery flight? Wonder why they are delivering it to ORD and where it will go from here. It is scheduled to depart ...Jump to post
Would JL shift NRT-ORD 77W to HND-ORD? Or fly 2x daily Tokyo-Chicago like NH does. 1x daily HND-ORD 77W and 1x daily NRT-ORD 77W.Jump to post

2-3-2 in Delta 767. LO 787 fleet is inconsistent, muddled with leased aircraft with nonstandard hard products. Business class in Delta 763 appears better than LO 787, if the aircraft is cleaned and the seat is not broken. As someone that has actually flown LOT, you are talking absolute nonsense!. On Tuesday 08/07 Air Europa flew an A330-200 registration EC-JQQ, BUD-ORD-BUD on behalf of LOT. I guess LO needs some more 787s. While I was in WAW last month I saw SP-LRF a 788 sitting grounded without the #2 engine and a piece of the tail missing, not sure what happwned there.Jump to post
Question for the ORD AA regulars here. I took an AA flight a few weeks ago through T3, and noticed the main hall had only American flags. It's been a very long time since I've flown through T3; is this a permanent change or was it simply due to the 4th of July holiday week? I'd hope to see the inte...Jump to post
In other news The Rolling Stones just arrived in ORD today from MAN on a 767-300 reg. ZS-NEX. This particular aircraft flew for LOT Polish Airlines as SP-LPA and was their first 767-300 being delivered way back in 1990. Lets just say this plane has a visited ORD a few times beforeJump to post
YYZ has service to all 6 continents if you consider direct flights, which is the same that must be considered for ORD. AC33/34 is YYZ-SYD (Via YVR). Why must the same be considered for ORD? ORD has non-stop flights to 5 continents with the 6th AKL coming in November. The ADD-ORD flight stops in Dub...Jump to post
