If F9 serves London and its not Gatwick, why would it be LTN instead of STN? Stansted may be near capacity as well, I am not sure , but LTN is a hell hole and Stansted is easy breezy to the city via the Stansted Express.

I remember the slowdowns by maintenance in particular. At the time, as a gate agent, that created some seriously volatile situations for me in with the gate lice. Light-bulb needs replacing? 4 hour advise time lol

In Sabre, the flight is showing wide-open the next week both directions, which was my sample size. I picked one random date 6.17 as well, and see the same thing. This is a shame for KL pax base that don't have options -or have very few - to fly on KL metal to DL hubs. If TPA is already served by DL from ATL,JFK,BOS,DTW, etc... and DL has already a sizeable operation of (let's say) 20 flights, it might make more sense to add just 1 flight from AMS and upgrad...

global2 has It right. I've done this more times than I can count, especially outbound, as I prefer AirFrance A380 across the pond. Its not a friendly connecting airport in or out. Just wanted to confirm that is correct above me. There is no buses to AirFrance terminal period
