Re: 5 Years Later, When Will They Find MH370?

I'm believing in the Diego Garcia theory. Why nobody at all is speaking about it on a.net? From what I think, many highly ranked people from a few countries incl.USA would know something. When you see the Malaysian Interior minister speak during his interview a few years ago, you feel he lies as he ...

Re: Air Canada Summer 2019 long-haul changes

Mods, I recommend changing this to an AC changes thread, not just summer. I feel like it would be better served that way. On that note, C-FITW had a tailstrike at HKG as AC15 from YYZ. Will be interesting to see how they manage having a 77W down for a little while. Any news on the condition of this...

Re: Red Deer Airport’s prospects are looking up for 2019

Asian or European ULCCs would operate out of a hangar or even a tent, rather than wanting (and wanting to pay for) a new $9 million terminal at a small destination. Asian and European ULCC's don't use tents at airports that have low temperatures below 0 C more than half the year and hit -40 C and c...

Re: Silver Airways ATRs?

In May this year I sent them an email see how it was going for the ATRs, I got that answer "We wish to inform you that the airline has decided to delay the startup of service between MCO and HSV from 23MAY2018 to after 12SEP2018. The reason for this decision is based on the new aircraft for the...

Re: United Airlines CEO to Make Historic Route Announcement Tomorrow (12/12)

Noone has thought that the historical announcement could include orders too, couldn't it? Why not order some A380s and put them on well established routes, this would definitely be historical.

Re: LOT “Strike”

LOT decided to borrow few more 737s, 737-800 from Travel Service and 737-500 from Blue Air. Also a cool one, a 340-300 from HiFi Malta!!!! And guess what, all these flights of course will be boarded/disembarked with buses as well. That's perfectly fine to expand but out of a 1h connecting time, you...

Re: Air Canada Summer 2019 long-haul changes

Nice upguaged going on here. I'm wondering what routes all the 87-8's are going on.. 8 frames so: YVR-KIX YVR-LHR (AC896) YVR-ZRH YVR-CDG YVR-BNE (2x frames counting the YUL tag) That leaves 2x 788s. Any old Mainline 763 routes to be taken over? As an aside, might YYZ-NAP be in the cards? Still hop...

Re: Air Canada will add 4 more A330-300s in 2019

Great for economy class passengers. Personally I think 2-4-2 seating is always better than 3-3-3. And normal window shades instead of annoying dimmable ones. :checkmark: I'd take the A330/767 over the 787 any day, if you enjoy looking out the window the 787 is the airliner you should always avoid u...

I'll try it on 16th Dec from YYZ to YUL, the one entering service in December will be the 2nd 7M8 received by Air Canada, 1st one is expected to enter service in January.

Re: Air Canada says increased demand could prompt more airplane orders (CBC)

Is this the right time/thread to ask about the ATR42-600, that could be replacing the DH3?............. With the ties Canada-Europe now, and Bombardier not offering any replacement to those DH3s, could Chorus(AC) decide to order some European planes that are already linked to Airbus?......... Orders...
