Good afternoon, Thank you so much for the feedback. For this photo of the Falcon, there was equipment blocking my view of the left wingtip, so I was forced to frame the photo how I did. I am already at a 4x3 ratio, so I can't crop any narrower based on A.net rules (I would use close to a 1x1 ratio i...Jump to post
One more for pre-screen, please.
THank you so much. I would not have seen the yellow tint, but I see it now. Cheers.Jump to post
Thank you so much for your feedback.
I pulled back on the crop duster's (1) contrast and added a bit to the helicopter's (2).
Good afternoon, This one was rejected (second time) for low contrast. I played with the tone sliders a bit since then, but now, to my eye on my monitor, it looks to have too much contrast, so I could use some help/feedback. 1: https://flic.kr/p/2mie1o4 (note, first rejection also included low in fra...Jump to post
I'd love for some feedback on these two photos:
HarryLi and JakTrax,
Thank you much. I appreciate the feedback and shooting tips. These are older photos so I was in no rush.

Thank you in advance for any feedback.
I'd love to hear any feedback from yall. Thank you.
Thanks much for the feedback.
Re-edits of the beach and R44:
I am a little unsure of how to place the R44 laterally in the frame with this crop; is this OK?
Thank you in advance,
Thank you in advance.
Many small airports in the US do not have ICAO codes, only FAA codes. For instance, Spruce Creek Airport in Florida is a famous fly-in community and it does not have an ICAO code but its FAA code is 7FL6. You enter it into the GPS or FMS of the aircraft the same way in the same place. The only diffe...Jump to post
EOS5D MK IV (new, getting used to it still), and a Tamron 100-400.
These shots were from a good ways away at almost 400mm of zoom.
Howdy, I'm worried that these might be a little soft which is why I exported them at 1024px wide. Also, not sure about the color balance. Feedback would be much appreciated. I'm going to pic the best of these two if either is ok. https://inner-marker.com/pictures/C17-1.jpg https://inner-marker.com/p...Jump to post

Alright, I kinda figured. Thanks for the replies.
Good morning all, I just had a photo rejected for using a gradated filter, specifically the one in Lightroom. I did a bit of searching but I can't seem to find the line in the rejection guide that says it's not allowed. Can somebody point me in the right direction? Did it come out in a forum post fr...Jump to post
For #2, I played with the vertical location a little. I visually cropped the image first without grid lines and it was very low in the frame. I think it's actually centered but looks high. I don't like the dead space at the bottom either. Did I read that they are loosening centering rules recently?Jump to post
1. I have an idea of a rejection or two for this but I want to see what other people have to say. Main thing is motive rejection? <a href="http://ssr-recording.com/IMG_0210.jpg" target="_blank">http://ssr-recording.com/IMG_0210.jpg</a> 2. Maybe soft? <a href="http://ssr-recording.com/IMG_0193.jpg" t...Jump to post
Any better? Links above work with new versions.
Edit: Only updated the first two (C-47 and Grass Strip)

This is a different angel from one that got rejected for Soft, Contrast and Centering (too low). Is this good particularly in those areas? <a href="http://www.ssr-recording.com/ACPics/IMG_4767.jpg" target="_blank">http://www.ssr-recording.com/ACPics/IMG_4767.jpg</a> This is a re-shoot of a photo tha...Jump to post

Alright. For the airfield overview, i did have the far end of the runway centered vertically in the frame but the previous suggestion was that that was low in the frame i think so I centered the runway trapazoid in center frame. Roger. Thanks for the tip about centering on 2 and 4; I have plenty of room from the un-cropped to fix those. As far as color balance and motive, are they all <acronym title="CSA Czech Airlines">OK</acronym> (for now neglecting centering and noise from compression for flickr)? Mainly, I'm worried ab...Jump to post
Yes, just general go/no go for these.
I think #5 might be a little white washed now that I look at it so disregard that one.

How is this one? I wanted to include the Gulf and the Global Express in the background. Is it a centering issue or is this good?
That's about what I thought. Thanks for the help.Jump to post
All right. So big thing for that particular photo was the foreground stuff is what I'm understanding. For that particular shot I was just playing with angles and not going for a great photo.
