How has the sector taken off? The BKK routing is a bit off, but sure to fill up seats and will make up for their less than 2 weeks launch

With Air AsiaX launching BOM-KUL-DPS, SQ might look at replacing 1/3 daily service from Mumbai to Scoot.

Established airlines are participating by paying RCS surcharge. It is up to local/regional start ups to operate right-sized aircraft to make this a success. Deccan has a long history of running operations to smaller towns: both before and after they launched Air Deccan.
