Airlines traditionally do not give out loads to non employees. Even back when the non-rev reservation numbers existed it was a yes there is seats you are X on the list kind of conversation not a there is x seats open sort of deal.

When the time comes, who will actually oversee the new engine being installed on the AA side? Will they send personnel from one of their US maintenance bases down? Most Airlines have Heavy/Special MX teams that deploy for things like these and work with the local MX team to complete work like this....

True, you can also just generally use Flaps 0 for takeoff on the C525, but as practically all departures are noise-abatement, you never use it. The article clearly states that it is against the city code (and likely zoning laws) to operate the airport. The FAA is federal and has nothing to do with municipal rules so they don't talk to each other about things like this, the FAA could care less if it aginst the cities rules to own an airport.

I do agree that there are fewer flights than expected SEA has a lot of NYC lift and is nearby YVR-NYC also overflies at a minimum of 4 major hubs (I'm sure I missed one). Transcons use a lot of time on aircraft, it may have better yields only having a few nonstops and sending the rest on connections

Just looking quickly through the flight deck photos of Delta's Airbuses (330s and 350s included) it appears they are all missing it. It was probably an old NW thing that it was ordered without the panel and DL kept it out to keep the fleet common.

One thing is for sure, I sincerely doubt AA will retire any airplanes anytime soon, even the 80s. Not in a precarious state like this. I'm gonna disagree with you on this.
