An article in the dallas morning news showed this as the "in house mechanics and related positions" headcount: American 14,660 United 9,952 Delta 9,630 Southwest 2,407 JetBlue 803 Alaska 706 the number for AA seem high relative to DL/UA. I also think the AS number looks low vs JetBlue.

AA will allow its basic economy passengers to carry a bag on board starting in September. Wont that mean less income? AA will no longer be charging for that bag, are they going to increase the fare $25.00 to make up for the loss in revenue?

Oh gosh I had no idea the states had their own regulatory boards for flying within their states, so I guess along those same lines Florida must have decided who could fly MIA-TPA and Texas decided who got to fly IAH-SAT?

The 2 airports are so close, why not just bulldoze everything in between the 2 airports, rename it Dallas Fort Worth Love International Airport. Build new terminals and runways. Then Texas will be able to get bragging rights back from Colorado about who has the biggest airport by land mass!

I think AA will keep BOS-PIT if the aircraft are involved in the rotation of other RJ routes AA flies out of BOS, especially BOS-ROC which I have been told (by a reliable source) is a very profitable route.

I think Seaport only operates 2 or 3 flights a day from Love Field. I think they have service to Hot Springs and Eldorado AR. I am not sure if those flights get federal subsidies or not.
