Why is this even a thread? Just because a plane flew there once doesn't mean it will on a regular basis. AA has much better routes for the 788 and it's in an international configuration, not a domestic configuration.

This aircraft is N7001U, which is currently at the Museum of Flight Restoration Center in Seattle. It has been there since the 90s I believe. I'm not totally sure if the paint scheme it has was on when it was given to the Museum or if they repainted it.

I also remember AA announcing that they would refurbish the 757s.

They're probably just focusing on the 777s and 767s right now. I'm sure they'll start refurbishing the 757s soon.

I believe the reason for the change in aircraft to the 747-8i is due to the A380 getting an upgraded business class. Someone from Houston I know told me that.
