I am confused. I thought the A321NEO was the A321LR. And the A321XLR was just an A321LR with extra fuel tanks.
Jump to postI never minded the Globe livery. I did mind that they slapped a "UNITED" bumper sticker on it for titles for the combined carrier. At one point, they were even going to put "United" in the CO font. I agree. The word "Continental" made more sense with the globe livery t...

Are the winglets bigger? It seems like it but I can't really tell.
Jump to postIf I were to guess, I would say the 777-9 would be the more efficient. Simply because it is the newer model.
Jump to postLockheedBBD wrote:Why is the A321 livery the only one that has a mask?
Are the requirements for relief pilots the same for flights which exceed 12 hours? An example would be like Air India's flight from Bombay to Newark.
Jump to postDull? Just look at that tail fin. Bone up on a little recent history, and that livery is anything but dull. That tail brought hope to the homeless, dreams to the decimated, a place of safety and security to hundreds of thousands of people who lived in nothing but fear all of their lives, in Europe,...

You could even make some games out of it.
'What's 1+1?'
'BANG BANG'
'That's correct'.
Is there any visual difference between the A350-900 and A350-900ULR?
Jump to postI agree with you 100%.

After watching the video multiple times, I don't think the wing actually hit the ground.
Jump to postWhat is the point? Seriously? Oil must die if we are to save our world and ensure a decent future for both humankind and plant and animal life on Earth. I’m amazed at the regressive attitudes here among you a.netters. There is more than enough power available from natural sources to provide all our...
Jump to postThe reason here seems to be that the mother did not return her child to the seat, no that she was breastfeeding the child. Isn't that the same reason in reality? It's hard to breastfeed your child when it's sitting in a seat no? What I meant to say is that it seems she didn't return the child to th...

Jump to postI should've been more clear. From what I read on the forum, I concluded that the airplane only had the stick shaker on the captain's control column. My question is, why was it an option to have the stick shaker on only the captain's control column? Standard equipment on captain side, optional on fi...
Jump to postPlease correct me if I am wrong but I have a similar memory. AA had opted out of the stall stick shaker option for the first officer seat (UA and CO opted to have that option). The first officer was at the controls and so didn't know the plane was in a stall, hence pulling back on the throttles. If...
Jump to postI remember this crash as kid. So sad, so sad. I was shocked to learn later (reading it here on Anet and then researching) that the pilots could have flown out of this if they had advanced throttles instead of retarding them. For a long time it was thought when the engine fell off the aircraft was d...
Jump to postI applied to ERAU for aerospace engineering and I got in. Instead I decided to attend the University of Cincinnati for aerospace engineering because it was closer to home. I feel annoyed knowing that I could have attended ERAU instead and seen a 747 SP.

Would this ban also include the electronics used by pilots as well? An example might be a tablet as an electronic flight bag?
Jump to postThis is ridiculous. This is the world we live in now, just click bait headlines and racist comments. Pilot did nothing wrong, these days it's all about taking a camera out and doing nothing. One women was held in a choke hold. Pilot tried to resolve the situation, unlike anyone else there. Jump to postI saw the picture of the old livery and thought how it was bland without realizing that it was the old livery. Then I saw the the picture of the new livery and realized what you were talking about.

But why is there no cheat line on the 787 livery? That's actually a good pick up! I didn't notice it until you mentioned it, well I have only ever seen AI 787's here in MEL! I think AI needs to get rid of the titles on the tail altogether, it cheapens the brand, a full tail like the 787's will make...
Jump to postI think this replaces the 757-300 for the crown of "flying pencil". That thing is loooooonnnngggggg! At least for an aircraft of that capacity. Am I the only one that thinks the E2s engines look disproportional to the fuselage? I also think the engines look disproportionate when compared ...
Jump to postI really like the Uzbekistan Airways livery; it looks really nice on the 787 too. In my opinion, the worst looking livery is the current Iberia livery. The LATAM livery is also quite bland in my opinion.
