I cant find anything on flightaware about this aircraft and have never seen anything from United bigger than an A320 in Charleston S.C. Could this aircraft be the charter for the Widespread Panic band in town tonight and Saturday night? It's a beautiful bird with winglets! Thanks for any info, my ro...

RE: "Suicide Circle" In Charleston S.C.

This approach I haven't seen since the main runway went down for re-construction and I know these are training flights. There was an awesome video of it, it is not a combat approach i.e. full flaps/spoilers/engines in reverse on approach kinda of thing with a 6+ degree approach path.. They make a no...

RE: Unusual 787 Destination

On the flightline which is public knowledge, we have 3 China Southern Airlines, 2 Hainan Airlines, 1 Air India, 1 LAN Airlines and 1 Qatar but it is in Texas for paint right now. We are steadily getting closer to our projected rate of production and will soon be spitting out 3-5 a month from FAD (Fi...

"Suicide Circle" In Charleston S.C.

I saw a video years back that had a C-17 on approach in Charleston, South Carolina, to rwy15, they went down to minimums on the ILS and broke off of the approach to "circle and land" on rwy21.. They called it the "Suicide Circle" and I imagine banking a C-17 over 60 degrees at 1/2KM out and 200AGL f...

1st time A.Netter post, many years grinding my teeth reading your posts.. SALUTE!! KGSP & KMYR are our test beds for all of our "check flights".. Myrtle Beach International KMYR and the Greenville/Spartanburg International KGSP airports probably see more flight action than we do in Charleston. T...
