N317CM isn’t broken or being rescued Thanks, Allee! I'm guessing the ATI flight is government/military, then. That's of course what 395CM normally does; I just didn't remember what Spacepope did about it doing some military work from EMA in the past. Well not that frame in particular, usually ABX s...Jump to post
N503AZ has stretched her wings after conversion. Looks to be coming back stateside shortly. She got to TLV a week before CAM's N385AM, so it makes sense for N503AZ to be the next one out. Then, perhaps, N385AM, then N521AZ, then N393AN. I say "perhaps" because they don't always come out i...Jump to post
On January 23, 2021 N395CM B763 flew SEA-LAX-HNL , the old route that N392AN B763 operated before going to GUS for paint. A one-time event? cheers! I think that N395CM will probably cover this route until it ends (for ATI, at least) around the end of January, as I understand it. I wouldn't be surpr...Jump to post
Nice, thanks for the info. Great to see Schenker continuing its confidence in National. I wonder who will operate the 777F route, perhaps LH Group. Absolutely. And you make a good point that this is a good piece of business for National that Schenker has committed to for a year. National got those ...Jump to post
New to fleet B737-800 N67TC ferried from Mexico City to Roswell last night - presumably for repaint prior entry to service? We also have B767-300 N348AN in Shannon currently due to join the European fleet? DHL have also announced 8 more B777F ordered bringing their total to 22 when all are in servi...Jump to post
skyliner-aviation.de reports that the A330-243F EI-HEE was transferred from ASL Airlines Ireland to Air Hong Kong and had an air test as B-LDS at HKG yesterday. Interesting. That leaves ASL with the three older P&W-powered A333 conversions. I thought DHL was short on long haul lift in Europe, t...Jump to post
Noticed today that Titan Airways received DOT authority to operate subservice between the US and the Caribbean, Central America, South America on behalf of Amerijet. Didn't say whether it would be a 737 or A321. This may also mean the days of the DC-8 are numbered. Or they're just replacing the con...Jump to post
ABX starting their second trans-Atlantic route for DHL today:
Question : Does the ABX 762s are originally B762ERs or B762s? I believe that they are all non-ER 767-200s. I say this because they are some of the first 767s ever built. One has a single-digit line number (N740AN is LN6), and almost all have double-digit line numbers. Except for one, they were deli...Jump to post
Nothing too exciting for N742AN, the Astral-livery 767-200 that it looks like ABX will fly for Peak before delivering to Astral. She flew to MIA and now it looks like she is scheduled back to CVG, again on a 2000-series flight number (seemingly-denoting not a typical DHL flight). She's about 2 hour...Jump to post
Have we seen any action on the likes of 21 Air or Kalitta widebodies for peak yet? Edit: Just now spotting N401CK, which has been pulling mostly ORD-Asia runs recently is ferrying to CVG as CKS9702. I wanna say 21Air has been doing MIA-SDF and MCO-SDF flights on the 762 all year. So maybe that’ll s...Jump to post
Regarding Kalitta Charters II, it seems that within the past two weeks, they've made some changes. N331CK is now operating Caribbean runs, presumably for Amerijet. N332CK is now operating a CVG-ROC run for presumably DHL. Majority of their fleet appears to be operating for DHL at the moment CVG-ROC...Jump to post

In addition to the 4 767-300BDSF order a couple weeks ago, DHL is adding 4 767-300BCF

Not sure if Air Hong Kong news belong to here, but their latest A330P2F has obviously entered into service and doing Singapore flights in the last couple of days, after being ferried back from Europe last months. https://www.flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/b-ldr That probably explains why EI-HEC is...Jump to post
Interesting development with N363CM -- is it going to Amazon or somebody else? This is a 767-300, a 30-year-old ex-Qantas non-FADEC aircraft, converted and owned by CAM, that is/was on the ABX Air certificate. It has been on the ground at ILN for 3 months, after its return from a 7-week maintenance...Jump to post

All flights retured empty to CVG
Those of us following the saga of 741AX, the Amerijet lease return that sat in ILN and then TPA for a total of about 2 years time before finally being leased out and sent to ROW recently, presumably for paint, will be interested to know that it looks like it's going to a Far East carrier. The ATSG ...Jump to post
Interesting that it's flying in the full DHL colors -- thanks for confirming that!! . If DHL owns the aircraft, then the aircraft receives full DHL colours. So that's why Kalitta's N739DH, N284DH and N276DH are in full yellow, whereas N760CK-N765CK are all-white or co-branded. Same applies to the n...Jump to post
The new ones are in service. This one is N703GT on the scheduled DHL run. Which airframe? Also what flight number? Could be a shakedown flight for one of their new-to-them frames. Tangent I know, but it was just recently reported Kalitta will be flying some 777Fs for DHL. SOO351-354 So is this a ne...Jump to post
Finally DHL and ATSG sign 3 year extension. Still only 8 tails for ABX to fly.

The C Containers were used up to December 2008 when DHL shut down the US domestic network. For the 767-200s there was tails with C Containers in the main deck and bellies. There were also tails with C Containers on main deck and DQF/AKE/DPE in the belly. From Jan 2009, no C Containers were used.Jump to post
It’s been a 767-300 since last summer. G-DHLH was transferred to Tasman while the 757 went back to Europe as G-DHKZ.
Here’s an article regarding the upgauge.

On ABX, the airline actually uses more than just the dry-leased ones on a fairly-regular basis, but if I am correct, here are the six actually dry-leased to Amazon: 744AX 749AX 750AX 774AX 795AX 768AX Spares sometimes seen on Amazon: 773AX 740AX 312AA Many of the other ABX-operated 767-200s will oc...Jump to post
A9C-DHM (DHL International) has been retired and return to CAM @ILN on 16-Aug. LN 58. 1983-build. Originally delivered to ANA in passenger configuration. I presume CAM will shortly deliver another frame to DHL to replace this one. A9C-DHM lives on. Ferried to Leipzig today. https://www.flightradar2...Jump to post
Exclusive use probably means Aerologic will operate extra weekly rotation of flights for Lufthansa, not that the new tail is just for GEC. What were 749AX and 752AX having done at GSO? Seems like CAM aircraft are usually maintained at ILN, by AMES. But GSO's major MRO is HAECO Americas (formerly TIMCO).
IMO, I believe DHL will renew the 767-200 leases to the benefit of ATSG and not ABX crews. DHL already has 5 762s in Bahrain (769, 775, 793, 794 and 796) and a possible 6th one heading there (787). For DHL, ABX only flies 7 767-300s and 3 767-200s (EWR back to ABX for time being). There were 10 767-...Jump to post
