Last time, I checked the time after landing and then we were waiting for long time at the taxiway because another plane was still at our gate. I found out on the screen that the plane landed "ON TIME" but we were still inside the plane for more than 20 minutes!! Therefore, I think the airl...Jump to post
Interesting story about K class
I would love to sit in the K class so that I don't have to worry about hearing children screaming lol.
http://yeseniamelara.com/images/project1/unitedstationary.jpg No way!! I realized that there's another logo that looks very similar to that image above http://www.universalphoneservices.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/logo.png http://www.universalphoneservices.com.au/Jump to post
Air New Zealand's flight from BNE (probably SYD too) to NLK (Norfolk Island) is an Australian domestic route and they file NOU (New Caledonia) as an alternate... so you could have a New Zealand airline operating an Australian domestic route divert to France... I don't know whether this has ever act...Jump to post
Interesting topic! I believe that Air France has some long haul "domestic" flights - eg from Paris to Tahiti or New Caledonia or Madagascar. I heard a story from British Airways. British Airways also had long haul "domestic" flight - between London and Hong Kong. Pax must carry t...Jump to post

Virgin Atlantic stopped flying to Australia many years ago. Only British Airways can fly to Australia. Virgin Atlantic had an interline agreement with Swiss/Lufthansa/Austrian between Europe and Australia via Asia.
I would LOVE to see LH/LX/OS aircraft in Australia! lol
Cathay Pacific - change from 744 to 744Combi
All Cathay Pacific 743s have missing doors in the middle of the fuselage (above the wings)
Wow... I can't say that I love it and I dislike it. It doesn't look represent Canadian culture. I cannot see and feel like it's canadiana but I can feel like our modern style... Those colors look like you can see everyday and EVERYWHERE!! They match to the car design and white car and traffic light....Jump to post
Sorry... can you please give me more detail about it... I guess you are talking about Swissair??
Can't believe that Qantas use inflight meal box?? When did Qantas change it? Thought that they use inflight meal with tray for across Australia between east and west coast.Jump to post
yeah and there was no overhead bins in the aisle/middle of the aircraft. Oxygen masks were placed behind the seats. Yeah... I remember I flew on DC-10, it was an odd one - shaking all the time and I could not sleep and there was no turbulence outside. I have flown with lots of airliners but DC10 is ...Jump to post
Another story - Austrian airlines hired some Japanese flight attendant. I met a newbie Japanese crew on my Austrian flight and she was really nice and calm. Once I saw a woman passenger buy a pair of earrings from the Duty Free cart for the woman FA on a DL flight to IST, for rewarding her good service :) I'm not sure it's against the airlines' policy that flight attendant can accept pax's gift because it's expensive - hope that it's under $20. It woul...Jump to post
Gibraltar (British colony in spain) comes in my mind. Strong wind (from sea) against the rocky mountain while approach/take off, avoid crossing the border between British and Spain, land runways over highway/pedestrians and lots of houses everywhere.Jump to post
Wow that's interesting but I haven't seen that situation in all my life. I have flown on LH many times (last time was in Jan 2016) before and never seen that happened. They were all prepared before push-back. I do remember on my flight - Dragonair - the overhead bin were closed and locked but I was ...Jump to post
Sorry but I think you don't have a clear understanding of "Chinese" airlines. Do you mean airlines based in China or all airlines of Chinese origin? Zurich terminal is big and it's a long way to get there. When you arrive the international terminal, then take an underground tram/train to take you to the intra-Europe/domestic terminal. If you get lost or could not find the gate, you may miss your flight.Jump to post
Well... I was on that same flight in January. However, I was in another days but I saw same female flight attendant (show in business class). Didn't know that she was still on the same flight to Dublin many times. lol Different gate... I remember my swiss plane was next to the Turkish airlines 738.Jump to post

I think Emirates has done very good job to help disabled people. They can do their best to help them and make them feel comfortable. If they are in trouble, flight attendant can think of "outside the box" and try to figure out how to help them.
