Air New Zealand's flight from BNE (probably SYD too) to NLK (Norfolk Island) is an Australian domestic route and they file NOU (New Caledonia) as an alternate... so you could have a New Zealand airline operating an Australian domestic route divert to France... Virgin Atlantic stopped flying to Australia many years ago. Only British Airways can fly to Australia. Virgin Atlantic had an interline agreement with Swiss/Lufthansa/Austrian between Europe and Australia via Asia.

I would LOVE to see LH/LX/OS aircraft in Australia! lol

Wow... I can't say that I love it and I dislike it. It doesn't look represent Canadian culture. I cannot see and feel like it's canadiana but I can feel like our modern style... Gibraltar (British colony in spain) comes in my mind. Strong wind (from sea) against the rocky mountain while approach/take off, avoid crossing the border between British and Spain, land runways over highway/pedestrians and lots of houses everywhere.

agree with you... I prefer Austrian cos they have got very friendly crews - better than Swiss crews. Swiss crews were nice but don't interact with the pax much.

Zurich terminal is big and it's a long way to get there. When you arrive the international terminal, then take an underground tram/train to take you to the intra-Europe/domestic terminal. If you get lost or could not find the gate, you may miss your flight.

I think Emirates has done very good job to help disabled people. They can do their best to help them and make them feel comfortable. If they are in trouble, flight attendant can think of "outside the box" and try to figure out how to help them.

I think Singaporeans can speak Hokkien - different Chinese dialect, mixed Cantonese/Mandarin (I mean when they pronounce in both Cantonese and Mandarin together) and English. I know most Koreans can speak Chinese and even can write Chinese as well. They learnt it at school. I am not sure about Japan...
