TAP opens Lisbon-Basel twice daily with A-319 effective summer schedule 2019.

Departures from BSL TP953 at 11:05 and TP957 at 20:15.

This is excellent news since the flights allow connections to the US, South America and Africa.

The new cargo flights come in line with the opening of a new cargo terminal in Basel. The new terminal can handle sensitive goods such as pharma products.

Unfortunately some more bad news for Berne airport...

SkyWork is dropping Belgrade and is reducing Zagreb to one weekly flight. Amsterdam and Vienna will see reduced frequency as well.

They will, however, launch a weekly Basel to Elba flight every Saturday for the summer season.
