Oof those uniforms are rough. Totally joyless and so dowdy. I agree with the above poster - Zac Posen has got to be having a good day today. My overall takeaway is that a ton of knowledge has been lost in the airline industry since the pandemic. Delta is very hit or miss service-wise as the front li...

Re: Delta Air Lines Fleet - 2024

DL has put a significant number of 757s through heavy checks post pandemic and spend a lot of money on overhauls of PW2000s as well with the intent of using the engines and harvesting them out to the end of life of the fleet. Not to mention the schmitar wingtips and interior refurbs on the 75H and ...

ATL is the most efficient major airport in the world. I’d connect through there everyday over the alternatives. ATL is a well oiled machine, especially on the taxiways and runways. JFK-EZE's season ends June 6th instead of the usual late March end date for Northern Winter long haul routes (it will resume in late October for NW24/25). This June 6th date is a day before TLV resumes. This begs the question, is DL truly trying to make JFK-EZE year round or will it revert to NW se...

I think they do, which is why so many are surprised that they didn’t just cut one of the VS frequencies on that route this way DL still have a presence on that route with their metal while still eliminating some over capacity of it. While we’re at it, drop the bubblegum-country-pop boarding music for something more curated and serene, and encourage FA’s to actually use the mood lighting. Anyone know why DL147 ATL-SCL cancelled last night? I assume the 35L went tech, but I also wondered about extra spare aircraft due to TLV being suspended. I forget if the TLV suspension leaves extra slack in the 35L fleet, or if the fleet is maxed out with the ATL-LAX-AKL rotation added in.

They must really be banking on maquiladora / manufacturing / auto related traffic from DTW & ATL point of sale and strongholds going into MFE. Like I said, seems like it would be better to just fly ATL-MFE. All I can think of is that the MFE and MAF sectors are very short, which saves on block ...
