The OAG online shows on 1 June, DL 1018 (MD88) ATL-MEM arriving at 7:49 PM. Normally the plane would return to ATL as the early morning flight the next day but, on 2 June it does not. Will the plane ferry directly MEM-BYH? (about 20 minutes up I55)

Personally I think carriers should be allowed to petition the DOT to drop CARES mandated routes if they can put together an argument that the market has "comparable service". You know they do this all the time in-reverse with limited slot rewards, trying to tell DOT that a carrier doesn't...

Another measure of schedule reliability is flights cancelled. For the year 2019 Delta reported for mainline (which includes A221) 281 days of ZERO flight cancellations and for total system (including connection carriers) 165 days of zero flight cancellations.

Maybe MEM is going after the Delta A221 and A223 tech business? There are 76 seat a/c on most of the MSP, DTW and LGA -MEM flights that could use A22x a/c. Also, a good way to restart MEM-SLC.
