Forgive me if this has been mentioned, but I haven't seen it on any of the AA releases: are they still planning to resume BOS-LHR on their own metal later this year? I see it available to book on their website, but we all know that isn't always reliableJump to post
Anybody recall when DL/NW last flew MEM-BOS? I can recall a 319 twenty years ago but I suspect there was more recent activity. I can't seem to find when. An article on the 2013 drawdown mentions one MEM-BOS flight on DL remaining, but I think that was pretty short-lived. Toward the end of NW, it wa...Jump to post
I'm over the moon! BOS-MEM is back on DL!
As my handle might suggest, I'm ELATED by this! BOS-MEM is back on DL!

Was flying UA on BOS-DEN several years ago, and we had to divert to YYZ due to an engine issue. After about an hour on the plane, they had us all deplane and quarantined in a pretty isolated gate in the international terminal just vacated by an Etihad flight. We waited about five hours for a new 757...Jump to post

Your comments were the anti-Olympics motto which IMO is 100% incorrect, and 100% propaganda paid by interested parties, mostly the NIMBY's who had nightmares of strangers coming into their million dollar home neighborhoods. So not to go completely off the rails (maybe we need a Crazy Boston Aviation Ideas thread for this), but the now-closed UA/JetBlue merger thread got me thinking. All of this growth in Boston has been a flash in the pan. In five years, I'd be surprised if Boston has much more than it had five years ago. It's a nice little city but it's not in the same league as Cathay Pacific's other US destinations for example. With all due respect, you have no clue what yo...Jump to post
Glad to see BOS ahead of the curve here =) However, what is interesting is that airports are pushing for an uptick on the PFC to pay for these projects.

Hi all, I know there is a Boston aviation thread, but this is more a history of terminal C question...the new E-C connector brought updated gates for JetBlue's ops at Logan; however, what's the age of the rest? Aren't we also due for an update on what the modernization is going to look like? MEM Airport Twitter handle announcing that tomorrow will bring an "exciting announcement" tomorrow regarding new nonstop service. Any guesses? I do think it needs a big modernization effort, as everyone seems to universally gripe at how old the gate ares are as much as they universally praise the BBQ. I'm curious as to what the gate number might be if they go in the direction of entirely new. I know that around 60 gates were going to be le...Jump to post

I wonder how Allegiant is doing on LAX...seems like these westbound upgauges almost beg for another legacy to step in.
