Aeroflot paint differences Boeing vs Airbus?

Anyone out there know why Aeroflot seems to use a different paint on its Boeing aircraft as compared to Airbus?

The Boeing color seems flat and more gray as compared to silver...

This doesn’t appear to be a fade issue. New deliveries as well.

GDL, BJX, MID, MTY and QRO. All on Ejets IIRC. FWIW Delta is using AM to outsource a lot of flying to places like GDL, BJX and MTY. GDL for example is about to be down to ATL only. If I were MH, no way I'd go for new aircraft right now. Plenty of gently used A333s and 77Ws coming off lease soon! Only a revenue premium justifies new aircraft...something which MH definitely does not have.

I have to imagine the already ordered 739s, 321s, and CS are more than enough lift to replace all of the MD88s...there is just so much capacity coming online...

LOVE the pic of the MD history!

On the subject of inconsistency - look at the DC950. Font and widget are smaller than the 717/M80/M90. I swear Delta painted the logo smaller on all fleet types that were NW only.

The 319/320/330 all have significantly smaller fonts! Hmmm.

I think N822NW had the wrong font painted at Airbus...first factory delivered DL Airbus...

Good catch on the reg placement on the CR9s.

Ive noticed some font discrepancies on the MD90s as well, although not as bad as 822. The 5 new 75Gs also have the wrong font on the reg.

N819DX seems to have shifted stateside in exchange for 6822.

It is operating a daily rotation - very unusual for Delta to put one AC on a line day after day.

Today I picked a summer schedule date - 7/10 which I figured would be representative of a full operation day.

I was shocked to find that only the 77W fleet appears to be fully scheduled. There are at least 15 772s available and 10 763s. What is going on?

Only 2x JFKLHR...used to be 6X!
